Hey guys,
I have a great deal on an engine, its a 2000 with 40k miles for $350. Only problem is the engine has California emissions equipment and my car doesn't. Can I just replace the exhaust and directly swap them? Or will I need to change over more parts?
Also I have to know today if I want it or not.
Thanks!

As it turns out the manifold for the california emissions equipment can just be removed and plugged. The threads are 1/2-20 so you can use a spark plug* with that thread. I machined the head of a bolt so it would fit in place and seal.
*obviously don't hook wires to the plugs, this is for sealing purposes only.
