I am i dire need of some help. I have a 2006 ford taurus and recently I had the check engine light go on and when I would accelerate at about 40 mph my car would chugg. Then once it hit about 50 it would smooth out. It starts fine, does not run rough when in idle.
I have replaced plugs and wires, fuel filter, cleaned the throttle and ignition control module. Had the injectors checked, cleaned all the lines with the lucas cleaner.
When Autozone ran the codes there were a few things listed under possible causes.
I am just wondering if anyone else might have some suggestions
Please help

Welcome to the forum.
Just a tip:
Best to always state engine, year, and mileage wwhn starting a thread, it can make a difference.
Do you know what the codes are. Please post codes.
Are you pushing the accelerater pedal or holding it steady in the 40-50 mph range???

sorry... 2006 ford taurus v6 - non flex - it's got 93K miles.
It says P0300
It says cylinder misfire detected -
probable cause -
ignition system fault spark plugs,
ignition wires (BOTH REPLACED TODAY)
Coil
vacuum leak
injector fault
high/low fuel pressure
it does not happen all the time. when it does do it I am accelrating... but then smooths out.

P0300FordRandom Misfire Detected
When this happens have you floored the accelerateer, if so what happened?? Does it continue to stumble or did you get full throttle responce??
Possible camshaft Synchronizer and sensor.
Check coil pack for cracks.
