Won't idle at different times

Hey. Still having a problem with my 1995 Nissan SE pickup..6cyl..77,000 miles. Most often it runs like a brand new truck...And then out of nowhere it's hard to keep idleing..If I come to a stop I have to brake with one foot while giveing it a little gas to keep it running. But oddly enough it straightens itself out until it decides to do it agan...And it does hve a new fuel pump(probably bout a year old)..des this thing have an "idle control valve"? Hope someone can clue me in...Thank you....Pete
