08 cabin filter replacement

I replaced the cabin filter and reassembled the deflector and the cowel, put the two rivets back in but it seems like the top part of the cowel (rubber seal that lays against windshield) doesn't seem to be sitting tight to the windshield anymore. I took everything back off to make sure I have everything right and it looks good. Maybe it's because I might have bent the cowel a little while moving it out of the way??? Does anyone have a video on changing out the cabin filter for an 08? Thank you!!
