Just got a 91 Firebird... I got some questions

Hey guys. Im 16 years old and just got a V6 firebird. I was wondering would a chevy small block fit in this car without heavy mods? And got any other ideas for some decent yet inexpensive motorswaps? Also I am having trouble finding apperance mods.... Im looking for new gauges, blackout lights and the such :) All my friends got BMWs so i wanan hook up my bird to look alot better!

What tranny? Manual or auto. if auto, which one - i.e. TH350? or 700R4?

It an Auto...... about the other thing you said..... im not sure, i dont know much about the car i just got it today. Where should i check on the engine to find out?
