Picked this up from a thrift shop for 4$. All parts look intact and had to undo someones glue work. At least it wasn't the clear parts. Decals are crap... instructions are all intact too. Most of these cars are red. I found a list of color combos. Candy Blue Metallic sounded good. Closest thing I had was TS50, and it looks great. Just trying to track down engine pics. Painting is slow. Finally above 40 degrees. Anyway, heres pics:

My attempt at the tail light didn't work out too well. Paint went under the tape.

Need to pick up another can to touch up this area and try again. And if anyone needs the instructions scanned. Let me know. Thanks.

As I promised. Heres the engine, mostly aluminum. Gunmetal exhaust.

Picked up 2 greys for the interior. Light and machine grey. Looks pretty good and better than primer grey.

Still need to paint rest of interior and detail it. Having trouble painting the black on the windows though. theres no ridge to trace for cutting. Thanks for looking.

No replies?? Masked off interior parts for dark grey and black. Still thinking on windows.. are ther any east ways for masking steering wheels? Center is a different color and tape isnt working well.

Something I have done when masking tape won't work, after painting one color I cover that color with Vaseline. Just be sure not to get Vaseline on the areas you want coated in the other color. After the paint dries, just wipe the Vaseline off. Do some tests on a scrap part first to see how it works for you.

Since nothing was on the sprue i put the wrong axle in the front. Ended up gently taking almost the whole frame apart. But this kit is an old kit and worth doing right.
