02 Stratus 2-Door Heater Core Job

This is the first time I've tackled a Stratus heater core, and I'm having no luck. I have the factory service manual open to page 24-30, heater unit removal. It refers me to page 23C-21, dash removal. I've been in the buisiness for thirty years and I'm completely shocked and at a loss as for how to get this dash out so I can get the heater box and core. Manual shows about 25 or so screws and bolts total for this job, I have almost a hundred out in a box and this dash won't move an inch with a foot-long prybar,:runaround: which shocks me. Does anyone know a trick that might not be printed in the manual? I sure would hate to have to put this car back together and ship it still leaking; probably cost me a customer forever.:banghead: Thanks to all in advance.
