Finally! Here are some shots of the finished car!
Here is a non-comprehensive list of things added or changed:
Mirror posts to albion alloys tube, added shift linkage, added/replaced detailed shifter mechanism, added/replaced brake fluid reservoirs, rivet detail added (Archer Fine Details transfers), cut rear bodywork off to be more realistic, added huge amount of plumbing and wiring to be accurate, added intercooler/turbo air plumbing and piping to turbo and intercooler, heat shielding added to engine and chassis floor, scratchbuilt all rear suspension for added realism, p/e wing endplates, turbo boost controller added on front of tub, turned shocks, p/e brakes from BT52 added, extra brake cooling at rear added specific for Monaco (Piquet's car, at least), etc., etc.
This was a fun but looooooong project and I'm pleased with the result. It was quite daunting once I got into it and realized exactly *how much* needed to be changed! It was fun though, and I learned quite a bit from it, so that is something to take away. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have and do.

Oops, I guess I missed that! It's Tamiya's 1/20 kit.

Off the scale Daniel-a masterwork for you to enjoy every time you look at it. Make a glass case for it.

Thanks, Merlin! It means a lot coming from a long-timer like you. Thanks also for the photo complement, as I've really been working on them. Not perfect yet but getting better slowly! :)
