I have to take off my front differential to replace a leaking seal and possibly a bearing (247K miles) but I'm wondering if I can take off my front differential including the CV axles and drive shaft from the transfer case and still drive my truck? I don't see how it would hurt for a couple of day's? Just wanted to make sure, anyone done this?

The CV axel stubs hols the weel bearing and wheels on.
You would have to remove axel shaft from stubs and put stubs back in wheels.

I replace my wheel bearing a couple of years ago and thought to remember the hub is connected with three bolts and the wheel itself to the hub with the six lugs?

Still needs axel stub to preload and hold bering together.
