Matra MS 11.1:12 British GP practise car -68

Hi
This is the Tamiya kit and itīs supposed to be J.P. Beltoise British GP practise car
of 1968.
This car had a much smaller rear wing than usual , the wing is not in the kit so I had to make a new one.
The oilcooler has the wrong position in the Tamiya manual so I scratched a
new support for it and mounted it on top of the gearbox .
There is a WIP in another forum: http://www.f1m.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=18732

ahhh, Matra, one of the forgotten heroes of Formula 1 racing.
still my favourite period for single seat racers and it's always good to see one of the less popular ones.

Hi Thomas,
a very nice one!!!!! I love these old F1 classics by now.
A beautiful miniature, my congratulations!

A question: Is it straight out of the box or did you use any aftermarket-/ or scratched items?

Hi
Thanks all !
Jochen, there is a link to a WIP on the top of the thread. The conversions I did
was mainly the watertank in the front and the smaller rear wing and the oilcooler with itīs new located support. This are scratched built.
Regards
Thomas
