Good sub+amp match??

I got a Kicker 07CVR124 in a sealed box for 50$. I bought an amp on a whim on sale, the Sony XM-1S. So im wondering if I made a good match. I have the sub wired in Parallel for a 2Ω load and the sub handles 400w. The amp puts out 500w @ 2Ω. If I remember right you can over power a sub without killing it as long as you don't turn the amp way up. Is this a good match? otherwise can someone point me to a better working amp to use with my sub? Thanks.

I am sure this will work good for your needs, the minimal power mismatch should be of no concern.
