heat/AC problem

Hey guys, first off I want to say i'm new to this forum. Now my question. I have a '01 Dodge Ram 1500 with a 3.9L engine. My problem is when ever i press on the accelerator about half way to the floor my air, (whether it be heat or AC,) goes to defrost. Then when i let off the accelerator it goes back to wherever i had it before. it this because of the engine size and too much power?

Sounds like vacuum leak under the hood. Look for small hard plastic line that runs into the firewall. Trace it back for broken/cracked.
