Hi guys,

It's been a while since I last made a F1 kit and I've decided to attempt on this kit as I like the colouring scheme. Anyway, I didn't placed any details on this kit as I only made out of box type of model.

My work in progress is in this link : http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=1084975

Here are the photos of the completed model.

For the whole body, I coloured the parts with TS-29 as the base coat first then later on colour the parts with TS-51.

I gotta say that I still lack of skills & experience in making F1 kits compare to making MotoGP kits but I hope I can improve when making on the next kit as I didn't think it was harder than I thought when making it.

Any advise would be welcomed. Thanks

Adrian

It came out good. I think this is the one people were commenting about the bubbles in the rear wing decals and then noticed it was part of the decal design.

I see (I think) the right front tire is even flat spotted. That's a detail you don't often see. :)

Thanks Greg,

The tyre part I wanted to get rid of the seam line on the middle of each tyre, so I tried ways to sand it off. The suggestion by Tamiya website is P600 abrasive finish but I still could see a teeny bit of the seam line. Do you have any suggestions for it?

Thanks again.
Adrian
