well I had the idea a few days ago, and today I had the time to make it happen
what do ya think ?
yeah I know more work than re-pinning the plug but this is totaly easy to reverse if needed. :D

ROFLOL!
Instint VTEC, just add ECU :p :p
I would have thought it would have freaked out when it worked out there was no VTEC solonoid, and it tried to engage it and run the second map, but nothing happened. Still its an easy way to raise the redline on a ZC.

well I did not run it long (like 30 secs) just testing my harness to make sure it worked (and to make sure the ECU i got is not a dud) it kept Pulling codes, 1, 8 and an other one not sure witch.
Though I was suprised the car started with the PR3 in it... ???
Oh well

Oh well
Fuel and air is fuel and air, and thanks to the wonder of parts sharing most of the sensors areshared, and things like injectors are very similar.
I imagine it would have been running the wrong A/F ratios, but the engines are not that differnt so it would be close enough to run, just not very well.
The codes would have been for things that the ZC lacks, like oil temp, VTEC solonoid etc.
