What was your first car?

My first car was a 1973 money green Plymouth Duster. I paid $500 for it at the tender age of 17. Gas was 21 cents a gallon and it cost two bucks just to start it up.

It was a four speed with a 340 engine and this car was super fast. I sold it only because I knew that it would kill me in a accident one day. So I bought me a motorcycle. Go figure!

1960 Plymouth Valiant, slant 6, push button Torqueflite tranny, repainted Mysterion Blue by Earl Schibe. Paid a buck for it. My sister got married and they bought a new car. Gas was 28 cents! Drove the crap outta it,rebuilt the trans and beat it up some more! Tough car.

My first car was a 1937 Dodge business coupe. She was black with mohair interior. She was powered by a flathead 6 with a 1bbl carb - making close to 70 HP. I bought her when I was 14 for $150 and started fixing stuff. I drove the old Dodge through high school and my first year of college. Then I upgraded to a 62 Dodge Dart in the mid 60's. I still love "fat fender" cars though.

last year got Mondeo 2T, guess that model invalid in other zones except china. a Ford join-venture produced car. sucks in the trans...it may not really suit for china road situation... i drive it just as if driving a tank~~~ such china roads~~

1954 Pontiac Chieftain Deluxe sedan . Straight 8 engine - automatic transmission . Two tone paint - Cream on main body , white top . Would love to have it now !

1965 Corvair Monza with 140 HP 4 carb engine. (green car was not mine but is identical to it except the license plate)
Replaced it with a 1966 Corvair Corsa (blue car)
