blower motor resister

I am trying to replace the blower motor resister and can't find it behind the glove compartment.I have manual temp control,so where did they hide it?Thank you very much Bill I forgot its 08 taurus with 120k miles

According to the factory service manual, on the 2008 Taurus the blower motor resistor is in the same location as the blower motor speed control, and both are mounted under the instrument cluster on the passenger side, near the blower motor.
Removal and Installation
Detach the RH scuff plate trim panel from the RH cowl side trim panel.
Remove the RH cowl side trim panel.
Remove the 2 RH lower instrument panel insulator pin-type retainers and the RH lower instrument panel insulator.
Disconnect the blower motor speed control electrical connector.
Remove the 2 blower motor speed control screws.
Remove the blower motor speed control.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
