Happy New Year everyone!!!
It's been a while since I've posted (or completed) a model, but I'm back :grinyes: Here is my last model of 2012 (technically it's not 100% finished since I have yet to attach rear lights and glue the seatbelts to the seats...). It's probably the best kit I've ever built - The infamous Tamiya 1/12 Caterham. I loved working on this kit - It was pure pleasure all the way. All I added to it were electric wires and some scratch built switches on the dashboard (most of which fell off at some point and will have to be repaired :(
I'll take some 'professional' pictures when it's finished, but for now let me show you what I've got at the moment:

Body panels pre-finished or did you do the painting? They look great.

I think you need to fix the orientation of the headlight lenses. If the ribs only go in one direction, they should be vertical. Also, the seatbelts in the first picture look a bit "hairy", and you may want to add some clamps to the hoses. Otherwise the car looks great, I'm looking forward to seeing the final pictures!

Thanks for your comments guys.
All body panels in this kit are made of aluminium (what a great kit this is!!! Thank you Tamiya:smile:) and I left them unpainted
Well spotted Eugene, thanks! I don't know how I missed it:) I'll try to fix this mistake before the final photo session

Great 7, what were the air filters made up of in the kit?

To me the air filters are one of the highlights of this great kit. The silver bits are made of metal and the middle is some kind of corrugated fine mesh. They are already pre-cut too. All you have to do is wrap the material around the plastic part and attach the metal parts to hold it in place:smile:
