What a day!

Ok today had to be the worst day of my life..
It all started when i woke up late for school, and had no ride to get there. I called my mom to pick me up and the day of hell started.
It was a normal day untill about 10:00.. i was feeling really sick, and when questioning those around me i had figured out that something really weird is happening... Told the teacher and she couldnt give a damn.
10:25: The fire alarm rings and everyone is happy to miss geography class. We all get outside and proceed to the field where it is about 28 degress i beleive. It was very hot out and we thought we would just be out for a minute... Minutes turned to hours and we watch in fear as fire truck after fire truck, and even bomb squads fly past us in the field and everyone was just out of it.. We then get information about what happened, There was a gas leak and it got into the ac system, the 3 janitors that found out about it were taken to the hospital for serious damage. Everyone was sick everywhere, it seems that the gas was the cause to my sickness in geography class. so 2 hours go by and we are now going through lunch, noone has had any drinks or anything. There wasnt even any shade to help us. It was hell
Now the good part.. The older kids got permission to go get some refreshments and stuff with the teacher's money and bring some stuff back.. A big group of kids who were the friends of my best friend's brother, brought back 4 tubs of ice cream. They gave a tub to us because my friend was a good friend to them so we sat there and ate this thing, alot of other people came to get some and there were like 20 kids at a time there lol. Another group brought back boxes of freezes and sold them for triple the price.. yes we were that desperate.
So then they let us back in like 20 mins before end of day and they had to fit both lunchs in 20 mins (because it went right thru both the lunchs) and half way through lunch they ran out of food, i wasnt one of the lucky ones.. and on top of it we went back to get our books and the teacher assigns us a project..
Anyways to rap it up, im starving, woozy off the gases, Sun Stroke is killing me, sun burnt, just chillaxin with a big bucket of ice cream :D Thinking.... What a day

The obvious question is, why didn't they just let you go home? Schools are so idiotic (and theses are the people trying to teach you to make intelligent desicions???)

i know and i live a 5 minute walk away.. and they wouldnt let anyone go, even if their parents came to pick us up.. it was so stupid!

because it was...umm...stupid?
at least you didn't do what i did last summer. did a backflip off the edge of my friends pool and hit my head on the corner. 6 inch gash in my scalp, 10 stitches. :D

i remember when i was in elementary school the yard smelled like gas and we had to evacuate the school. after several hours of sitting in the feild (they wouldn't let us go play on the slides and stuff) the cause of the smell was discovered to be a nearby machining shop that was airing out their equipment :/
