OK guys, trying to get some different opinions as to whats wrong with my truck.
First of all, its 5.7L V8, its been very well maintained, ive had my fair share of problems but nothing that has been that serious thankfully except for the "check engine" light for the O2 sensor.
MY PROBLEM-- for about the last 4 months ive had the problem of the truck sometimes jerking while on the road. Once i started to speed up it seemed to not speed up which when it did, it jerked a bit. That was in the beginning.
AS OF NOW, the jerking has stopped but every now and then when i pull out of the garage and start to turn onto road it turns off, but all the status lights are left on. & when turn the key to turn it off and restart it starts again every time. Ive noticed that i was better off with the "check engine" light on then now because everytime it is off it has these problems.
ALSO, when i barely start to tap the brake, again not all the time, sound skips on the radio. & this always happens when i tap on the brake. & this happens more frequently when the "check engine" light is off.
Could it be an electrical issue such as a short circuit somewhere? ive put shrink tube in all the radio cables already, but then again that should not cause the engine to turn off because ive already had a short circuit in one of the turn signal bulbs.
Hopefully i can get some help

What year and mileage?
How many miles on tune up?
You need to check for code and post back any codes.
Check fuel pressure on the road running and when it acts up.
Post back fuel pressure readings.

you desciption of the vehicle operation [jerking] this is not that clear to me.
now it you are driving at a steady speed and the vehicle starts to buck/hesitate what are the RPM's doing ? if they drop engine issues if they are rising tranmission issues.
idle issues these are most often the IAC/PCV / hoses etc vacuum leaks.
just for extra info check the fuel pressure should be 62-65 psi key on engine off. if its low below 52-54 psi this has to be checked further..
you may have several failures.
also as mentioned by MT2500 how about more detailed info. how long you owned this ? plugs used ? you or shop does the repairs ?

frist check battery cables, then check the grounding cables to the cab.
take it to a auto store and have them read the codes, or buy a scanner and check the codes.
is it a auto or manual trans. check the fluid in it.
