This is the original issue of Tamiya's Celica 2000GT-R. A really nice kit to work with, though of course quite simple given its age. Well detailed though, with working pop-up headlights. Paint is Tamiya white straight from the can. Played around with a few wheels; stock wheels from the kit, Fujimi 17" TRD Sports T3, then finally a set of supposedly 18" BBS wheels from a Fujimi WRX kit painted white.

Another clean build. It would be nice to see a picture with the pop up headlights open.

Thanks for the replies guys. Unfortunately the pop-up headlights are a bit difficult to move thanks to the thickness of the paint - I am concerned if I move them the paint will chip.
The ST185 kit is Hasegawa's street version. It is a great kit, though it suffers from Hasegawa's extremely thin wheels which makes replacing the kit wheels more problematic. My kit has a set of Hasegawa Corolla WRC wheels which suit the look I was going for. The kit is still reasonably easy to get I think.

Thank you.
I don't recall there being a street version and was half wondering if you simply built the Tamiya WRC car as a street version.
I have it in mind to do ST165-185-205 set as you have but I want to do them all with engine detail. Was kind of hoping that there might've been a engined ST185 kit out there somewhere that I missed.
