Almost bought one

I almost signed the paperwork on one of these baby's. I talked myself out of it after looking it up on the internet, and finding that there were alot of probloems with them. it was a black 2000 non sport I had them down to $13000.

have you all had good luck with them?

You probably made the right choice. I havent had experience with them but like the Cimarron, Catera is an insult to Cadillac. When Cadillac trys to go small with there cars, Cadillac goes junk with them too. Making those two cars was the biggest mistake Cadillac made.

NOOOO stay WAY AWAY from the Cateras. That was one mistake I'll never make again! I had a Catera that stayed in the shop more than I drove it. Everything from headlamps to tail-lamps went wrong with the car. I finally got rid of it for $5000.00 HAPPY! Definatley a disapointment to Cadillac and GM cars in general. I drive a Bimmer now...love it! It $13k is your budget...I would say buy you a '96 328is...wonderful little car! Just :icon16: BEWARE :icon16: of Cateras.
