ran into what some are saying a very special built 1971 corvette not even a part of production roll . has a very unique vin# maybe some 1 can help confirm this.A normal vin is ex:194371s102636 meaning a 71 vette 2636 off line . this 1 i found and considering purchase vin is194371s380790 no records anywhere. wasnt a production model was special built.Please help!!!!!!

So, did you buy that 'Vette? Were you able to figure out the VIN#? (Pretty certain they didn't sell 280,000+ that year). Was there anything noticeably "different" about the car, (assuming you looked at it)?
