Okay, it took me great courage to post this WIP here and PLEASE don't flag me for this as I didn't ask for permission to build this...so I not going to do it exact like the real car.
I got some download picture from Google again... lol. Then re-do the logo in vector form and send print. Well, printing is very expensive to me...but I got no choice. :disappoin:disappoin
The kit I had use is from Fujimi AMG SLS, Hobby Design R35 wheel set and etch set. The rest will be stock.

The decal was printed in gold line with clear background. Logo are printed in gold with black. I do my masking template and stick it on the back of decal before cutting.

Here is the masking template look like and test fitting my resin wheel before carry on the rest of the parts.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v73/Rtuned/goldrushSLS1a.jpg
Then spary all the parts according to the instruction sheet...(not all I follow exact like what it said.)
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v73/Rtuned/GoldrushSLS2.jpg
Then disaster happen again... O__O
The photo-etch rotor too big and not fit into the original plastic... worst my brake pad cannot join together... T^T

Well, some modify did on the disc rotor. Then head into the body paint job.
Sprayed black, then gold. But the gold is too bright, so I toned down with smoke black. (Because the gold color is the same color on my decal...), then sprayed flat coat on the black. Once it completed dry (took 1 day), I masked the whole black area.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v73/Rtuned/GoldrushSLS5.jpg
Sprayed a thin layer of clear coat and let dry. Once dry, decal time...:icon16:
Took me 4 hours to apply the decal, but it does worth the effort.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v73/Rtuned/GoldrushSLS7.jpg
Let the decal dry for a day, then apply 1 coat of clear coat and let dry again.
On the following day, I do the rest of the decals...

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v73/Rtuned/GoldrushSLS9.jpg
Repeat the clear coating again, this time 3 coat and let dry for 2 days. Then polished and removed all the masking tape on the black surface. And put up the rest of the parts, and ... ... ... it only acceptable to me, not really that good maybe because it doesn't have a body kit on it... DUH! Never mind, move on to other project...

(I try to get better picture when the sun finish his holiday) :iceslolan
Comment welcome and I might left out some detail... so ask if you wish to...thanks. :)

I did it from a guy in Hong Kong. Samueldecals.com, but you might want to contact him through Facebook... think his site is not functional anymore.
