Searching the internet, this forum came closest to my problem, but not quite there...
I have a '91 Lumina with a wiring problem. Power locks, dome light, cig lighter, and trunk light all out, fuse goes off like a Roman candle when I put a new one in. Trunk light flickered when the trunk lid moved for a while before it went, so I'm guessing it's somewhere in there (which looks like pulling the back seat back out...), but I thought I'd ask if anyone had this specific problem before I did that.
I really, *really* hate running down wiring problems, especially in the winter in Michigan.
Thanks for any info.

I would look where ever wiring flexes. Going into the doors, trunk wiring to the trunk light where it goes up to the trunk lid, etc. Sounds like a direct short. Bare wire.

Yeah, that was my thought - was just hoping there was a common spot for that. Given the light's flickering when the trunk lid bounced, I'm guessing somewhere involving that - but I'm 5'1", and I can't reach back under the back of the trunk/back deck from outside... guess I'll be pulling the back seat out. Thought getting in the trunk would do it, but I *still* can't reach. :shakehead
