2003 Blazer Window motor out - can't pull it up

I have a friend that has a 2003 2door Blazer and the left window motor went out....anyone know a trick to try and get the window up? They have to wait until they can order the motor....

First thing I would try is tapping on the motor itself while holding the switch in the up position, this may make the motor work long enough to roll it up. If not, you will need to unbolt the window from the regulator and wedge something inside the panel or between the glass and door frame to hold it up. Are you sure the motor is bad and its not a switch, or a wire issue?

First thing would have to be removing the interior door panel.
Then you could verify the motor works or not. If not dissassemble it, move the window all the way up and reassemble.
Any other way and you risk breaking something that isnt already broken.
