On my GMC Sierra 2012 I could not reset ( the manuel procedure ) my TPMS to the new tire installation. Any suggestions for a not to expensive tool to do the resetting. Thanks Andre

Did you install aftermarket wheels, with a big offset? If so, that could be your problem. You could take it to a dealer and see if the factory tool will reset them. Should'nt cost too much, we do it for free at my place...

Theese wheels were on my 2008 Sierra , on the 2008 It was easy to reset them. But this time I could not do it manually I had to go to my Gm Dealer they did it for $30.00, I would like to do it myself.

After doing some digging, looks the the old "manual" way will not work on these, and relearn tool is required. We have a factory GM tool and a aftermarket one. The aftermarket one is a KTI p.s.t (positioning sensor tool) Pro model KTI-71990. Not sure how much it cost.

I found another tool OEC-T5 ( Tool number- EL-50448 ). They say it is for GM vehicle.
Any idea if this toll will work on my vehicle, the price for this tool is only $89.00.
Thanks Again Andre

I'm not familier with that particular tool, and was only able to find limited info on it. I would suggest contacting the seller and make sure what it will work on.
