oil pan gasket

i need to know if i can change the oil pan gasket without taking exhaust offon 2000 tarus with 3.0 ohv.have bad leak at front of oil pan.any advice would be apperciated.

3. Remove the front RH wheel.

10. Remove the nuts and the Y-pipe.
- Discard the gasket.

- Install a new drain plug gasket and tighten the drain plug to 27 Nm (20 ft. lbs.).

14. Remove the 18 bolts and the oil pan.

Installation
1. Clean all sealing surfaces on the engine and the oil pan with Metal Surface Cleaner F4AZ-19A536-RA or equivalent meeting Ford specification WSE-M5B392-A.
2. Position a new gasket on the oil pan.

3. Note: The oil pan must be installed and the bolts tightened with in six minutes of sealant application.

Apply a 10 mm (0.40 inch) diameter dot of Silicone Gasket and Sealer F7AZ-19554-EA or equivalent meeting Ford specification WSE-M4G323-A4 to the areas indicated.
