Noise When Accelerating and Braking

I have a 1998 Chrysler Sebring Convertable JXI. 6 cyl 2.5L engine.

It's making this weird noise from the front drivers side when you accelerate and brake. I was almost sure it was the axel so I changed it. Now the noise is still there and I lost out on $60. Here is a video of the noise:

Anyone have any idea what this could be?

Engine mount; does the powertrain rock excessively?

Considering how clear the creak is compared with how muffled the engine sound is, are you sure it's not something inside the cabin, such as the driver's seat? Have you tried repositioning the seat, such as lowering it completely or raising it all the way, to see if the noise changes? Have you looked underneath the seats to make sure a Snapple bottle isn't rolling around?

Noise is weird and looks like it doesn't come from the engine. Double check it and if still clueless, get a 2nd opinion from another tech.
