Is it a lot of work to replace the turn signal switch in my 1999 Corvette? I bought a replacement but not sure if I can do it. Signed, Steve's wife.

It's a fair amount of work, mostly trim that has to come off. The steering wheel and the air bag need to come off, the trim around the top of the column also needs to come off. Unplug the harnesses to the multi-function switch, one screw on top of switch and one in the front of the switch. If you decide to do it yourself, be sure to disconnect the battery and then wait 20min before removing the air bag, this will allow time for the capacitors to bleed off. Also, a puller is sometimes required to remove the steering wheel.
