remove shattered wing window on passenger side

I wanted to find out the best way to remove the wing (quarter glass) on a 1995 Lincoln Continental is it necessary to remove door panel since the window does not open or close? Thank you I am a female forced to do repairs for lack of funds to pay for repairs.
