1988 Jeep Comanche Pioneer 4x4 - Questions

There is no sub-folder here for Jeep Trucks.

I have had quite a few Jeep vehicles.
An '86 (can't remember the model) - full time 4x4 with a Chain Drive.
A 95 Cherokee, a 97 Cherokee, and a 2001 Cherokee.

Now I just bought an '88 4x4 Comanche Pioneer JEEP truck - 112,000 on odometer.
Straight Six - 4 L, 4x4, 5 speed Manual. $2,700 Dealer Trade In.

Fuel-injected 4.0 L, 242 CID AMC 242 inline-six (I-6) - 173 hp.

Some questions.....

Wheels - would wheels from the '95 or '97 fit the 88 Comanche ?

Canopies for this truck - do standard Canopy's fit this truck or do I have to get ones made just for it ?

Light, Turn Signal, WS Washer Column Switch - mine is toast as regards Turn Signals
and Hi/Lo beam switching.
Are those switches hard to replace (wrecking yard switch) ?

Towing - has a Bumper Ball setup - is that very strong (I have a 1/2 ton Utility trailer) ?

4x4 - has the standard Jeep "Lever Selector". I see the colored plastic Tubes going to the front axle.
So this is where it is always in 4x4, but the selector switches in/out the front axle ?

Is the Clutch an Hydraulic or Cable Connected one ?

I've heard these are good, solid vehicles.
Seems powerful. ~30-40 psi Oil Pressure (gauge).

What should I look out for (quirks, etc) ?
Rust problems ?
One qwerk I already found - the Brake - Gas Pedal spacing is really bad for
people, like me, with big feet ! Bugger !

Is there anywhere on the Internet that I can get a FREE download
of the repair manual ?
