I have 99 ford contour that's not heating up. I have replaced the thermostat and flushed the whole system out. The head was replaced before i got it. I would be thankful for any help i can get. at this point this is me :banghead:

What's not heating up, the engine or the interior of the car? If the thermostat you installed is good, the engine should heat up. A properly working thermostat will keep the coolant from circulating through the radiator until it reaches a certain temperature. If the coolant isn't circulating through the radiator, the engine will heat up.

Now if the interior of the car isn't heating up, something is awry with the heater. Plugged heater core or heater controls not working properly. I should point out the coolant will flow through the heater core as soon as the engine is started if everything is working properly. Of course you won't get any heat until the engine warms up somewhat.
