Ok.. So who's going to see it?

I am, either Opening Day (Tomorrow) or over the weekend with my good friend.

We're gonne be those guys who shout out at all the dumb stuff and yell "take off yer shirt!" at the chicks both on and off the screen. :D

i'll see it tomarrow probally just to say i saw it and to see the nicer cars in the background

Got my tickets today:D Anyone in the VA, DC, or MD area who wants to come along with my "crew" is welcome! Just drop me an IM or something, my s/n is ChangRodriguez. Right now there are ~20 cars and ~10 bikes going in my group. It'll be GREAT fun! Also, we're going to the Egypt 24 in Arundel Mills!

Yeah, Neutrino and Snowboarder want to go see it either tomorrow or Saturday. I'll be glad to go, besides Neutrino needs some new lines, the ones from the Fast and the Furious have grown old and crusty and if he quotes one more he might have some danger to his exhaust manifold. :p

I'll probably see it saturday....to see the orange challenger lose to a riced out eclipse and a 500hp Viper to a........um.......Geo Metro with 800 hp turbo stickers that gotta spool up cuz they are so powerful....whatever they put up against it.

Hey, aren't you in Northern VA? In Woodbridge or Manassas? Want to go see it with us tomorrow? It's a bit of a haul for you, but if you're up for it?

Also this one looks like it has a 1970 Dodge Challenger in it. As long as they don't destroy this one, it appeals to me very much.

i'll see it. its jus a movie...so u can't really expect it to be real or nothin. i think it'll be alrite, jus very unrealistic an will cause even more rice to emerge. but...i'll see it...

We have ricers around my area, I bet there will be ricers just goin slow around the front of the theatre showin off first and everyone will turn heads as usual....BURN IN HELL RICERS! Sorry just had to get that out of my system, and I'll probably eventually see it even though I don't want to.

im going to get my tickets sometime this morning...

valley view will be the spot to be in n.e. ohio. they're having an import car show @ 5 right at the movie theatre.... it'll be jam packed.

I'm psyched, I'm just really gonna see it for the cars, namely the green Evo 7:eek: . Also I heard there was more of an emphasis on road racing in this movie than the last one.

That would be great but I already told a couple friends I'd go with them saturday, I couldn't do it friday anyways I'm way too busy.

i tried downloading it but when i went to open it was an episode from Larry Flynt's Hustler... lol. where did you get it? i tried kazaa and winmx, no luck there.

in the process of doing it now....might do like i did matrix: reloaded....download a couple of them to see if one works....but i'm at kazaa

I would rather have white hot barbs jammed into my eyes than pay money to sit thru it.

I have no problem with imports, but the movie simply hypes the stereo type.

Anyone see the magazine article about the featured cars in this movie? The fastest is a domestic, and none is faster than 13 sec. or maybe high 12, I don't remember which. Some of them are high 14s.

OMFG there were like 4 cops outside of the theatre by my house hahahaha. and there were so many ricers (if you live around SF or DC you will know what they look like even if they dont have their cars lol) i will go see it just to see it but im gunna cry when they fuck up all of the nice cars, i liek rednecks plan i may have to engage in it

anyways i saw the movie yesetday at 4:30 so heres my opinion

It was more based around street racing and had some nice cars (tats why i went, for the cars =])... i liked it better then the first one tbh.. (i didnt like the first one at all)...i wanted to slap the producers for doing that to a skyline !!! :flipa: <--to the producers

anyways see the movie :P

That Viper was hot thank god they didn't wreck it.

The movie was quite a bit different to the first one, they really didn't get into the street racing as much as the Fast and Furious did so there was less room to make error with bullshit talk. It was more like Grand Theft Auto with Mitsubishi's half the time.

For everyone who HAS seen the movie, the place where Tyrese was in the beginnng, Barstow California...That's where I was born and lived the first 5 years of my life:iceslolan My Grandparents still live there and I go back almost every year for Thanksgiving...It really is a worthless piece of trash town in the middle of the desert! They got it spot on in the movie!:bigthumb:

man this movie totally kicked ass........ made the first one look like some stupid movie(which it kinda was lol)

Dood, I was actually halfway impressed with this one! I'm too lazy to see who wrote the ' they didn't have space to talk bullshit about driving' but yea that's dead on.

:biggrin: I wouldn't even get my own tickets I made my g\f go get them for me cuz i was 2 embarassed. but seeing it I loved how they didn't follow the first movie at all. Some sequels just try to mirror their predecessors and they turn out like shit (Speed 2, MIB 2) but this one was completely different. I had also hated the original idea of sticking yet another, different pop singer in the second movie (luda...) but he did a good job. much better than I had anticipated. They had the nice classic cars too. And the whole like just mentioning the vin diesel thing from the first movie was a great touch. they didn't get hung on it but they kinda explained why. I mean, thinking about it and exclusing the rep of the first one, it wasn't a bad movie. Granted, the car flying onto the boat and the driving in reverse faster than the other cars doing 70 on the highway was stretching it but i was more impressed than I thought i would be.
Even tho i still f'ing hated the movie for a thousand reasons... im trying to lay my glass as half full 2day. maybe 2morrow.

It was cool movie.....actually racing scenes.....ehhhh.....you would have thought with the criticism the first one recieved they would have done a better job making this one more real....saw it wtih like 20 guys from my car team.....we had some good laughs.

Hahah, yea basically. It's right on the way to Vegas from the LA greater metropolitan area. I'm curious, do you go to UCI? Or just happen to live in Orange County? My sister and her husband both graduated from UCI a few years back.

Yeah live in OC, wanted to go to UCI but didnt get in, I live like 15 minutes south from there and am up in irvine getting Boba (tapioca drink) usually.

yo self, wish i could have seen it with ur crew. I just saw it a few days ago with my friend whos a big time future ricer. he just got a Civic Si. I bet ya in 3 months, it'll be parked at the school lot with a spic body kit and covered in stickers
