NISMO june16th

Nismo will be aviailable for order from all nissan parts dept. june 16th
if you go to nissan they should be able to give you a parts list which includes 350z parts spec v parts and legacy parts (legacy parts are for older cars ie. 300zx,240sx,sentra,ect)

if any one has question about a part i have a list it is just too long to type the whole thing.

dude i guess u work for nissan .im askin any one who can help.today my spec v started givin me that sevice engine light again and again and sarted kinda missing the throttle. imean when ure running out of gas ..that kinda situation.i put cai a while ago but its been running arit.i cannot figure it out ws the deal with it so should i take it to the dealer with that intake on it. it cannot be gasoline caus ei only put octane in it.didnt go through water that could go in the intake.

It sounds like your maf is gone. If you want it fixed then you should *cough* put on the stock intake *cough* and take it to the dealer. If you buy one on your own it'll cost you around $500 :(

Grubbs Nissan has always treated me well, but it's a ways away from you. It's on 183 near 820 just to give you a general idea.

unfortunately the spec maf is pretty weak, it seems to be a fairly common problem that they go out. If I would guess anything I'd say that it was caused by the extra vibrations of having a cai, but there are people who have blown them with the stock intake...so I really don't know what causes it to go. The only thing I know is it only happens on the se-r and spec, not on any of the other models, so it's not a problem with the intake itself, the maf is just weak.

ya..im just on th way of takin the damn thing of and putting the stock again.but would teh dealer figure out that id changed it before? this maf just lasted a month iguess.weird.i hope it doesnt make a habit lik that.thanx for ure help though.

most likely the dealer will know you had cai on it but most techs will not care, b/c it is an easy fix but if you blow your motor most techs will have a fix and call you out on it b/c they only get payed like 9 hours to change a motor and it takes like 20 so be carefull. If you are gonna run your spec hard i suggest changing the header out b/c of the cat problem (if getting pulled into motor) but if you do that you void all warrenty so you are kind of stuck.

ok the story goes likethis.

its been the third day that i ve been takin my car to the dealer.the tech tol dme that i changed the intake that i denied.well, i ws given a warnin u can say.first day right out the door the SES light is back on.took it back.second day took it back after the day passed they told me there ws no light on.ok.again i took it when the light was on and the car ws shakin and vibrating like its not gettin any gas.the tech took a whole day and toold me that he reset the SES but he couldnt find a problem.he ws talkin to the nissan help line and S&it.and just a whilel ago the same problem started agin without the SES light turnin back on.and then its drivin fine after that.it keeps doin that on and off.
this is makin me crazy and hate nissan day by day.accordin to the tech i drive hard and agressive...oh really ..!why did i spent 18 grand on a spec -v not a GXE.
any ways... ws ure point of view in this whole ball game.any comments or suggestions!

asked the nissan parts guy for nismo products.
headers=almost $800
intake = 290
racing cams = 800 or close
cat back = 799 with cat and little less without cat

for the love of god no friggin dealership in south florida has the list yet damn!!!!!!! I have 7k dollars waiting cant even spend it!

what are you looking for? if you give me a idea what you want i will give you nissan part number and you can just give them the part number and they van order it for you.

sorry but it's HIGHLY unlikely that nismo will release a turbo kit, I don't believe they've EVER come out with a turbo kit for any car, much less a US-only car. JWT is your best bet if you want to go that route...like I'm sure most of us do.

we put a cat back on a stock unit it sounds ok not too loud but is a little faster nismo says like 8 hp at wheels
