Cutting off rear heater hoses

Hey yall,
I have a 2004 extended Montana with rear heat. I am having intake manifold problems and have to bleed the cooling system now and then. I'm wondering if it is more difficult to remove air from the system with the rear heat. I am thinking off just cutting off the rear hoses but am not sure where they are and how to plug them. Any ideas? I am usually alone in the van so I don't need the rear heat. This van is on its last legs and I'll be lucky to get through the winter.
Phil.
