Auxiliary coolant pump no power

Recently I've noticed very low heat in the front part of the van. I took it into the shop to have the coolant flushed and replaced and the Tech told me that it wasn't the coolant but was the ambient air temp sensor / switch. There isn't a signal coming from the amb temp switch to the aux coolant pump to pump more water to the heater core.

I changed the amb air temp sensor and still not working. If you apply direct current to the pump you can feel the van heat up in the front cabin.

Does anyone know what the part # is for the wiring plug to the pump or is there a way to add direct only when the van is started?

I would really prefer to fix correctly.

No coolant leaks
Temp gauge runs between 1/2 to 1/4.

Thanks,

Don't have a wiring harness immediately available. Is there a relay between the sensor and the pump? If there's a relay between them, it might be bad, check accordingly. Yet first, I'd check two things... is the amb air temp sensor outputting voltage when it's supposed to, and is the air purged from the heater loop? The biggest culprit seems to be that there needs to be an air-purge of the heater loop.
