Runs rough at times

Hi, I have a 1995 Nissan SE pickup. 113,000 miles, 6cyl My problem is, at times it acts like it wantsto die and runs rough... I can put it in neutral and give it a little gas to keep it running. But it's always cleared up by itself. It's always idled a little fast. I replaced the fuel pump several months ago and that seems to be working fine. It may go days or longer before I have problems with it wanting to die... If anyone can help that would be great! Thanks....Pete
