Leaking anti freeze from weep hole

I have a 94 Camry left to me by my father inlaw when he died a year ago. I notice antifreeze coming from a weep hole just above one of the alternator mounting brackets. Whats involved with replacing the water pump and timing belt? Im guessing thats what it is and while im in there I will replace the timing belt as I dont believe either have been replaced. The car has about 160,000 miles on it. I kept my Windstar going for about 250,000 miles before my daughter wrapped it around a tree so Im sure its something I can handle. The problem is time as we are getting into winter. Is it a major job or something that can be done in a few hours? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks Mike

The first time replacing a timing belt and water pump on a front wheel drive car will take you some time. I would guess a first timer doing this job could take 4-6 hours if not longer, if everything goes well. I have seen professional Toyota technicians do this same job in 1-1/2 hours. I suggest you first consult a technical service manual and read through the procedure to see if it's something you feel you can handle. The Northbrook library would be a good source for manuals. They should at least have a Chiltons or a Haynes manual. If replacing the waterpump I would also replace the cam and crank seals which are under the waterpump. It's only a few dollars for the seals and it is a good time to do this when everything is off and these seals are easily accessible.

Good luck if you choose to do this job yourself.

I understand the back issue. At my age mine always hurts. I'm beginning to limit myself more and more on what I do myself.

Schaumburg Toyota has coupons on their website for $299 on the timing belt change for the 4 cylinder models. In many cases I've found the dealer's specials for the timing belt change come out cheaper than the independent shops or chain stores charge. Adding in the waterpump and the seals will still add a lot more to the job. My guess would be about $800 total. As far as other choices I've had good luck with Pep Boys in Arlington Heights on Rand and Palatine roads. They have a tech there (Jimmy) who owns a 95 Camry 4 cylinder and knows these 5SFE engines really well. Their prices are fair and they don't try to upsell you things your car doesn't need. If you do go to either of these places tell them I sent you. They know me at both places.

Dealers replace the tbelt only for those prices.
Independent shops replace the belt, all rollers and tensioners, and the water pump for a little more but with aftermarket parts.
