2000 sierra 4l60e

I was just given a 2000 GMC Sierra SLE since the the tranny has problems - my brother just bought a new truck. From doing tons of reading.. and the symptoms (no reverse and grinding as soon as placed in R) I suspect it to be the sun shell - not sure about 2-4 gears, it was towed to my house, I moved it forward without any signs of slippage.

Both of these kits come with the BEAST sun shell...
OR... should I do more since I have it apart

UPDATE... took it round the block... it will not shift into 2nd.. just grinding noise.. I tried manually into 3rd but once I heard grinding noise I moved it right back...
since there's so many different kits just wasnt sure which kits to get

service engine and ABS lights are both ON but none tranny related... vacuum leak and left front speed sensor (C0222).. also, c0267, co226 and c0237
