Heater issue advice

I have a blend door issue on my 02 overland. AZC threw code 56 which is passenger blend door issue. I have a question about heat temp. My driver side has heat but its not as hot as it should be. I have it on HI and the heat is warm but it should be hotter as I previously remembered when it was working properly. My question is, will the blend door issue affect heat temp on the driver side? Thanks!
