2002 alero aftermarket stereo instalation

Hi everyone. I've just installed a kenwood KDC-348U receiver using a kit, Hooked every wires with matching colors but i have a problem. I am left with two wires, the orange witch is illumination/dash and the orange and white witch is dimer, the receiver does not have those wires. My problem is my receiver wont turn on or at least the lights on it wont. I can insert and eject a CD but that's about it, i need help.
