I am getting some rear axle pop when I have excessive Body side to side movement. I first noticed it pulling into my driveway, but noticed today it would do it if I created some roll by moving the steering wheel while up to speed.
I can also grab the top of the rear tires, shake and feel movement in axle and hear pop. No whining or grinding or any other types of noise other than what I just described. Any ideas?

Better get the rear suspension looked at for worn control arms or joints, right away!!

Are rear control arm bushings easy enough to replace myself?

With the right tools this can be done, I assume they are available seperately, but the diagnosis is first, no?

As Max said, diagnose first!! I have seen the upper control arm bolts come loose at the frame mounts. Check all the control arm bolts, upper and lower.

I guess one should never assume the worst. Problem solved. Very loose bolt on rear stabilizer bar that runs parallel with the differential. Thanks for the help!
