remote control to open doors

Hi,
I believe in a Mercedes you can open the driver’s door from the outside with a remote control. Can the same remote control open all the other doors from outside or does the driver have to go in and press some button on the inside of the driver’s side door that will unlock all doors? How can the driver unlock all the other doors from either inside or outside?
