Alfa Romeo Junior GTA 1/24 Tamiya+Scaleproduction

Hi guys, again, no WIP....sorry

Kit is well known Tamiya in 1/24 with addition of Scaleproduction transkit with wide fenders and new wheels/seat and rollcage.

In addition I have also re-done the engine, added new intake manifolds, new fuel supply, oil cooling, brake system etc.

Kit was fun to build, fenders fitted perfectly but you still need to add putty to get it in right form, but nothing major. Wheels are fantastic as is exhaust.

Paint is Zero, clear 2K, all metal is Alclad.
I hope you like it.

Paint looks superb! I can't help thinking that those plugs wires look a bit disorganized though... Was there no factory clip to hold them in place? Really nice build!

Superb job, Sasa. Magnificent overall look, but I'm also amazed by the neat window gasket done by alclad, looks like I have to serch some fenders for my GTA :)

Well done. That has built up very nice. I recently purchased the same Scaleproduction trans kit and it fits the Tamiya kit like a glove.

Thank you guys, ianc, I agree with you, the fact is I still have to add some things to the engine bay, so I will try to organise those cables also.
Gio, that was my primal concern, I still didn't do it the way I wanted (with black gasket at the edge) because the way windows are put on the body is not the best, anyhow I always take Alclad over BMF, it just look more natural...and of course, I hate that factory chrome on any part because it only destroy final look of the model.
Thank you guys for the interest once again.

Wow, very nice indeed! A fantastic looking car. Since Tamiya decided to include the window surrounds as part of the clear parts it must have been fun masking the windows to do the chrome trim! Excellent work!

Brilliant work! I recently built one of these OOB and had a tough time with attaching the rear window - however, I used BMF for the trim and that might have been a contributing factor.

Amazing job!!! The chrome-black edge of the tail lights, alone, is an impressive piece of art!!!

Nice work. These flared fender GTA's had injected engines and different heads than the normal GTA's. Also 13 inch wheels.
