Eclipse 2g engine. Which one??

Hello. I was looking for the second generation 2.0 L non turbo engine, but i'm lost already. looks like american and european versions doesn't had the same engine, is that true??

I'm interested in the 4G63 non turbo, just for a swap with an european '92 Mirage/Colt. Can anyone help me with that question??

If by 2g you mean 95-99, 2g non turbo engines were equipped with the 420A chrysler motor. Or the spyder with a 4G64 NT.

Only the 1g Nt's had the 4g63 nt's. Some 1g nt's had a SOHC 4G37 engine 1.8L.
