I have a 76 f250/460 engine. I have replaced the hoses, belts, water pump, fan clutch, flowed the radiator and it still overheats. Any suggestions? I'm at a loss. thanks

Turn the HVAC on high Heat max, are you getting Heat?
This will tell us if coolant is circulating through the heater core, or is there air pockets in coolant system.
If No heat, buy a Prestone/Peak coolant T-flush kit, than purge air out of the coolant system with a garden hose.

Caution - Any shortage of coolant can cause a over heated condition.

Thanks for your reply. I've done all of that...have good heat so I don't think there's an air blockage. 190 thero=mostat and it goes to 210 when it warms up. When driving it goes to 230 then back to 210. When you apply power, it will go to 230. Off the power, it comes back to 210. No sign of head gasket leak and compression check is good. Still don't knwo the cause.

Sounds to me like a bad thermostat. I have had bad experiences with NAPA and Gates brand thermostats, pretty much right out of the box. I, personally, will now only use Stant brand thermostats if available.

I will also prefer to check the thermostat function. If thermostat is not working properly or you can say if expulsion of fluid become stronger then you need to replace thermostat.
Also watch the fan when thermostat opens. If engine is heating continuously and their is no changes in the speed of the fan then may be you need to replace the fan.
