warped brake rotors - 1997 LeSabre

My LeSabre has 150K miles. I have replaced the rotors three times; once at 85K miles, again at 124K miles, and now again at 150K miles. In every case, the vibrations got so bad it was very annoying. This time, the pads were not worn excessively but I noticed that the outer pad showed more wear than the inside pad. I also noticed that the rotors would be hot after normal driving. When I bought the new rotors, I asked the parts man what could be the cause of the warpage. He said check the "sliders." After doing a little research, I learned that the caliper slider pins should be cleaned and lightly lubricated as well as the slider rails. Can someone tell me how to do this? I'm sure I will have to disconnect the caliper from the brake line. Are the slider pins separate from the bushings that go around the attaching bolts?
Sorry if I sound ignorant, but I have not done much brake work other than replacing rotors, pads, replacing brake lines and bleeding the system.

If you have done rotors and pads, this is easy. No need to disconnect the line. And over torque on the lug nuts can cause rotor warpage.

1 & 2 is what you want to lube.
Recommend you register at autozone, they have some great repair guides vehicle specific.

Thanks for the tip. I will redo the job tomorrow. I also signed up for the Autozone repair site, even though the nearest store is over 100 miles from me. As to your comment on lug nut tightening, do aluminum wheels need to be torqued differently than standard wheels? The shop manual just says 100 ft. lbs.

No 100 is correct but do it in a star pattern.
