Wheel squeeking?

I have a 2000 cavalier sedan. When the car is moving and when i turn, the wheel makes a squeeking noise even when the brake are not pressed down. I know its not the brakes so can someone please help me!

It sounds like the brakes to me, but if you're absolutely sure that's not the case it could be the wheel bearings.

Do you know were to get any wheel bearing parts for a 2000 cavalier then? And is it possible for me to change them myself?

If your brakes are okay, then I'd get the front end checked and an alignment done on the car. How are the condition of the tires? Are they worn on the inside/outside. Get it checked out.

It was just a thought.. I agree with the above that you should get it checked out by a professional before you start changing parts. They usually check it out for free. :smoka:
