1996 gmc jimmy head light problem

I have a 1996 jimmy and when i put the head lights on ,after about 15 minutes or so they will go out then on,they will do this for awhile,and when it does it the day time lamps go out as well,any ideas,i was maybe thinking the day time running lamp module :banghead:
