Heater valve bad again

Anyone else have to change one of these? Several times? Always leaks at the rod into the plastic.

They are not the best setup.
You might try a different brand.

Be creative and make one out of brass/copper from your local pluming supply store.

I have had to change mine three times.The first two were from Napa.The second one lasted for about one year.I finally went to GM and have not had a problem since.I don't know for sure,but the Napa ones may not be compatable with extended life anti freeze.
